Ketamine nasal spray, sometimes referred to as intranasal esketamine, KETAMINE NASAL SPRAY is used as a nasal spray to treat patients with treatment-resistant depression (TRD) and major depressive disorder (MDD). “For people who are not getting enough help from currently available antidepressants, this could be something that could be added to that and possibly get a better response, in the short-term,” says psychiatrist Amit Anand, MD, who is also Vice-Chair for Research at the Center for Behavioral Health and Director of the Mood Disorders Program.
