Behavior

Looking Great Blue Herons wade slowly and gradually or stand statue-like, stalking fish and also other prey in shallow h2o or open up fields. Look ahead to the lightning-quick thrust in the neck and head since they stab with their potent bills. Their quite slow wingbeats, tucked-in neck and trailing legs make an unmistakable picture in flight.
